We have the skilled staff, the location, and the motivation for serious research into plant nutrition, particularly as it pertains to cannabis. Our internal labs are state-of-the-art facilities with some seriously cool equipment. We’ve been fortunate to study cannabis nutrition in a way that no one else has.

Part of our motivation is that federal law makes cannabis research difficult. We stepped in to do the work that most universities still aren’t able to do. Using an ICP-OES, flow-injection analysis, and a LECO-N-analyzer, we’re able to analyze biological samples at the micro level. Over the past ten years we’ve collected and analyzed over 10,000 tissue samples from cannabis and hemp farms. We’ve studied all types of strains in all types of conditions, and we’ve logged the variables. This database allowed us to establish real standards for idealized nutrient levels in leaf tissue, in flower tissue, in flowering soil, in field soil, in growing soil, and in soil for seed production. Take any type of plant in any type of situation, and we could tell you what it should look like at any given time and how to get it there. And we’re not just talking about your nitrogen levels.
